The Down syndrome charity – run by the amazing Wendy Uttley – supports 420 families, and was one of the earlier charities supported by the All Together Now choir. We are always very happy to continue to help the charity by performing.
Beginning with Africa – and including the inspiring Something Inside So Strong – parents and children enjoyed listening to several of our favourite songs, sung by 40 choir members, on a beautiful sunny day. Families also enjoyed fun and games for the kids, fantastic food stalls, a raffle and the delights of exploring a visiting fire engine.
A highlight of the day was the visit of TV presenter, actor and dancer George Webster, a wonderfully inspirational person and supporter of the charity.
It was a real family day.
