The theme, Historical Cirencester: A Different Perspective, encourages fresh views on the town’s rich history, inviting photographers to create original works that demonstrate both technical skill and creativity.
The competition is open to all ages, with prizes for under-16s, 16 to 18s, and over-18s.
The winning entries from each category will be showcased in the Daniel Bingham Foundation Gallery, and online, during the festival.
The festival, which runs from October 25 to November 3, is set to be even larger than the sold-out inaugural 2024 event, drawing speakers and visitors from across the country.
The competition is currently accepting entries, with the deadline set for Friday, August 15.
It is being run by The Rotary Club of Cirencester, together with Cirencester Civic Society.
Entry forms and further details about the competition’s terms and conditions can be obtained by emailing rotaryphotocompCHF@gmail.com.
