Colorado suspect sought in attempted bank robbery after presenting indecipherable note to teller

According to police, a man in Colorado attempted to rob a bank but was unsuccessful because the teller could not read the note he handed over.

The incident took place at First National Bank on 750 North Lincoln Ave. in Loveland, Colorado, right before 5 p.m. on Dec. 17, as reported by the Loveland Police Department.

Upon entering the bank, the man passed a note to the teller.

The teller could barely read the note as it was almost completely illegible, as per CBS Colorado.

Feeling frustrated when the teller struggled to read the note, the man quickly exited the bank.

Authorities are still on the lookout for the suspect.

The man was seen in surveillance footage wearing a brown hoodie, green pants, a green baseball cap, sunglasses, and brown gloves.
