Comic-Con Unveils ‘Alien: Earth’ with a Stellar Premiere

San Diego Comic-Con horror fans received a real treat on Friday in none other than the world-famous Hall H. The pilot episode of Noah Hawley’s and FX’s Alien: Earth was premiered in its entirety for the crowd. This was a very well-received episode of sci-fi horror and will go a long way to elevate the hype for this new show. Multiple types of alien creatures are seen in the pilot, and in this fictional future people have been changed and enhanced, as well. An eight hour story this year, we will see the aliens arrive on earth in the wreckage of the ship that was sent on a mission to obtain them as specimens.

The cast and creators were on hand to follow up with a panel and all were excited to bring the franchise to television. They let us know that they all love the original movie, the show was shot in Thailand and, if you were wondering, Zenomorph drool is actually KY Jelly.

FX also brought an activation to the Comic-Con campus to allow fans to walk through a recreation of the wreckage of the ship that we see in the first episode. The show premieres August 12, 2025.

SDCC Panel Synopsis: The Wait is Over: FX’s Alien: Earth World Premiere and Q&A

Zucker (Scott Free), and the cast of this highly anticipated sci-fi horror series inspired by the acclaimed feature film franchise. FX’s ‘Alien: Earth’ makes impact August 12 on Hulu, FX, and Disney+ internationally.
