Upon arriving in the Bahamas on Christmas Day, a woman excited about her upcoming family holiday was met with distressing news.
Alison Joyner, a resident of Atlanta, had two designer purses totaling $4,500 stolen from her checked luggage after flying with Delta Air Lines, as reported by Fox 5 Atlanta.
“I felt violated,” Joyner shared with Fox 5. “Why would someone do this to me?”
While unpacking at her hotel, Joyner noticed her possessions were in disarray and realized that her blue Chanel clutch bag and Louis Vuitton clutch were missing.

After placing an Apple AirTag in her Chanel bag before the flight, Joyner was able to track it to a location 30 miles south of the airport.
“I checked my phone,” Joyner explained. “It showed the location in Senoia, Georgia, a place I’ve never been to.”
