Irish Arts Center in New York has unveiled its fall 2025 season, which includes a revival staging of Samuel Beckett‘s Endgame, directed by Tony winner Garry Hynes. The production is transferring to the Manhattan venue from Ireland’s Druid Theatre, where the revival debuted in 2024. Performances will run October 22-November 23.
The entire original cast of that staging will reprise their performances in New York, including Bosco Hogan, Aaron Monaghan, Tony winner Marie Mullen, and Rory Nolan.
The absurdist tragi-comedy, originally written in French, premiered in London in 1957, focusing on an elderly man, his parents, and his servant awaiting a final ending while living in an abandoned house following the apocalypse. Beckett himself considered the work his masterpiece.
