If the Court prohibits Google from sharing revenue for search distribution, Apple would be faced with two unfavorable options. It could still allow users in the United States to select Google as their search engine for Safari, but Apple would not receive any share of the revenue generated, giving Google valuable access to Apple’s users without any cost. Alternatively, Apple could eliminate Google Search as an option on Safari. However, since customers prefer Google, removing it as a choice would negatively impact both Apple and its customers.
