Emma Raducanu expressed her desire to meet and converse with talented dart player Luke Littler about his remarkable accomplishments, noting how young athletes are unprepared for the spotlight that shines on them.
During a media session before her Australian Open match against Katerina Alexandrova, Raducanu, 22, acknowledged her interest in learning from Littler’s success as she aims to regain her form after winning the 2021 US Open at 18.
Littler, at just 17, recently became the youngest winner of the World Darts Championship by defeating three-time champion Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the final.
“Huge respect to him,” Raducanu commented. “I am very interested in meeting Littler. I am eager to meet top athletes and accomplished individuals in various fields.”
