8.40 Southwell – Exciting Racing League finale on the horizon
Trained by David O’Meara, the in-form Star Of Lady M is a strong contender after her impressive victory at York. The race features several recent winners, but she is expected to clinch victory for Team Ireland.
Nazron from Roger Varian’s stable, winner in week four at Windsor, has shown strong form and could challenge with jockey Daniel Muscutt.
Moulin Booj, Jer Batt, and Tatterstall – other recent winners – are also contenders in the final race, which will determine the winning team and champion jockey.
11.16 Saratoga – British contender takes the spotlight in US Group 3
Cavallo Bay goes for a third consecutive win in his American debut for trainer Charlie Appleby and jockey Dylan Davis in the With Anticipation Stakes.
Reach For The Rose, a recent winner at Gulfstream Park, is also a strong contender. Debutant victor Uncaged and Zulu Kingdom complete the field.
7.12 Southwell – Warmonger aims for fourth win
Warmonger, ridden by Luke Morris, has shown progress since moving up to two miles. Trained by Sir Mark Prescott, he is expected to perform well in the race.
Cardano, a surprise winner at 40/1 in his last race at Chelmsford, could be a contender with jockey Oisin Murphy. Manxman, who had a good run at Ascot last time, is also a threat with Danny Muscutt in the saddle.
Other notable races
In the first race at Ffos Las, debutant Apache Green from William Haggas’ yard faces off against Seven Symphonies, trained by Ollie Sangster. Later, Beeley from the John and Thady Gosden stable aims for her first win under jockey Kieran Shoemark.
Over at Newbury, the Varian stable’s Maissara, a high-priced purchase, is one to watch at 4.45. Blue Secret, making her debut for Somerville Lodge, runs at 5.20.
Exciting runners like La Pulga and Great Max can also be expected in the Racing League card. La Pulga aims to improve on a second-place finish last week, while Great Max sets his sights on a hat-trick.
