Federal Communication Commission chairman Brendan Carr expressed his concern regarding a radio station supported by left-wing billionaire George Soros, which disclosed the live locations of undercover ICE agents.
Carr’s FCC is investigating San Francisco-based KCBS 740 AM for revealing the live locations of undercover ICE vehicles and agents conducting deportation operations.
“It’s really concerning that a radio station backed by George Soros broadcasted these locations,” Carr said in an interview with Brian Kilmeade on “FOX & Friends.”
FCC LAUNCHES PROBE INTO SOROS-BACKED RADIO STATION THAT REVEALED LIVE LOCATIONS OF UNDERCOVER ICE AGENTS
“The radio station’s actions are particularly concerning given the increased deportations happening in the country, which have been possible thanks to President Trump,” Carr continued. “During an operation in East San Jose, known for violent gang activity, ICE agents were exposed by this radio station revealing their live location and unmarked vehicles.”
Carr highlighted that these events coincide with calls from high-profile Democrats like Rep. Maxine Waters to take action against Trump’s policies.
“We have initiated a formal investigation into the matter, and the radio station has a limited time to respond and explain their actions in relation to their public interest obligations,” Carr stated.
The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau is examining whether the radio station is violating its license terms by disclosing sensitive information about ICE operations in an area known for violent crime.

Last year, a group supported by Soros acquired a stake in over 200 Audacy radio stations, including KCBS 740 AM.
Audacy declined to provide a comment when contacted by Fox News Digital.
On a January 26 broadcast of “KCBS Radio Weekend News,” specific details about undercover ICE agents conducting operations were disclosed.
The host unveiled information about unmarked vehicles and detailed the exact locations of ICE agents in the area.
Trump appointed Carr as FCC chairman, having previously served as a member of the commission since 2017.
