        <p>Home search portal and real estate services company <a href="https://flyhomes.com/">Flyhomes</a> has launched a new feature for consumers called “<a href="https://flyhomes.com/reimagine">Reimagine</a>,” which allows users to virtually customize homes to their preferences, as reported by Inman on Jan. 16.</p>
        <p>This new feature enables potential buyers to redesign homes they are interested in using various interior design styles and themes. Users can upload photos or use images from the Flyhomes search platform to repaint walls, rearrange furniture, edit room layouts, and adjust tones, providing a personalized view of the potential home.</p>
        <p>Reimagine offers before-and-after views, feedback options, and the ability to replace or remove individual items within a room. It provides style options such as industrial, minimalist, modern, rustic farmhouse, Scandinavian, and Hamptons house, among others. Users can also download and share their finalized designs.</p>
        <p>Virtual staging has gained popularity in recent years, typically offered by standalone vendors. Companies like Virtual Staging AI, BoxBrownie, HomeKynd, VSH Media, Bella Staging, Matterport, Asteroom, and <a href="https://www.insidemaps.com/realestate">Inside Maps</a> are some of the key players in this space.</p>
        <p>Laks Srini, CTO of Flyhomes, stated, “We created this feature to help people visualize spaces more effectively. It's valuable to see different layouts, furniture arrangements, and design styles before making decisions, especially for those without a background in architecture or interior design.”</p>
        <p>Following an expansion into AI home search in Summer 2024, Flyhomes has adjusted its business model to include natural language parameter input and ongoing conversations about a home's features, after acquiring assets from ZeroDown, a rent-to-buy service.</p>
        <p>In response to impending changes in how real estate agents are compensated, including requiring buyer's agents to sign contracts with clients before showing homes, Flyhomes expects increased adoption of its AI platform, which gathers data from over 40 sources to provide insights about a property and its surroundings.</p>
        <p>Established in 2016 with a tech-forward, reduced-fee full-service model, Flyhomes secured a $150 million Series C venture capital round in 2021, led by Norwest Venture Partners and Battery Ventures. The company has since made adjustments to its staffing and product offerings.</p>
