According to medical sources, the entire health sector in Gaza has collapsed due to Israeli air attacks which have resulted in the deaths of Palestinians across the Gaza Strip.
At least 35 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli air strikes in Gaza, with hospitals warning that children are at risk of dying due to a fuel shortage.
On Monday, 13 people were killed in Gaza City by Israeli forces.
Nine of them were killed in an air attack in the Shati refugee camp, while four others died in a bombing in the az-Zarqa neighborhood.
Israeli warplanes were also reported to be targeting homes in the Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
In northern Gaza, 11 sick children in a hospital are at risk of death due to fuel shortages.
The World Health Organization has a convoy waiting at a checkpoint for approval to deliver fuel and medicine to the hospital.
33 health facilities have been out of service and the remaining hospitals require 4,000 litres of fuel daily to operate.
‘Health sector has collapsed’
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah is facing a severe shortage of medical supplies due to the closure of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt.
The hospital staff is unable to provide basic medical necessities, indicating a collapse of the entire health sector in Gaza.
Khalil al-Degran, the hospital spokesperson, stated that Israeli forces are targeting civilians in residential areas, leading to tragic incidents.
