Google TVs are incorporating Roku’s content

Roku is streamlining the process of finding and enjoying its content on Google TV, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps. Users will soon be able to search for content from The Roku Channel, Roku’s free streaming app, directly on Google TV, granting them immediate access to Roku’s extensive library of over 80,000 movies and TV shows.

Google TV’s home screen will soon feature new category tabs that recommend Roku content, as well as the option to resume unfinished TV shows and movies from The Roku Channel. Additionally, the integration will introduce over 500 of Roku’s FAST channels to the “live” tab on Google TV, offering free programming in categories like news, sports, cooking, DIY, and music.

New tabs and categories will simplify access to Roku Channel content via Google TV.
