OWASSO, Okla. — The Owasso Fire Department is fully staffed for the first time in department history, reaching its goal of a 21 personnel minimum per shift.
The City of Owasso said the goal was reached on Tuesday and marks a step forward in OFD’s continued mission to provide the highest level of service and protection to citizens
The milestone was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Owasso Firefighters Local 2789 and city leadership during recent contract negotiations.
Owasso Firefighters Local 2789 thanked City Manager Chris Garrett for his commitment to public safety and city administration for their partnership throughout the process.
