Humane, the creator of the AI Pin, is encouraging other companies to develop AI devices and gadgets using its CosmOS operating system. They have released a video showcasing CosmOS in a car, TV, smart speaker, and phone.
However, it’s important to note that the video, as stated in Humane’s fine print, is for “illustrative purposes only,” featuring “working prototypes” and some “simulated experiences.” The fine print also mentions that all “designs, features, and specifications” are subject to change, so it should not be taken entirely at face value.
The video demonstrates various interactions with CosmOS, such as controlling home temperature from a car, inquiring about recipes from a smart speaker, and getting sports information from a TV. While showcasing agent-like capabilities, Humane emphasizes that the products in the video are not their own and that they are providing an SDK for other companies to utilize.
The CosmOS SDK is not yet publicly available, with Humane’s website stating that it is “coming soon.” Interested parties can sign up to build with Humane through a form on the website. Humane has not disclosed any partners developing devices using CosmOS, as indicated by the blurred logos in the video. Inquiries about potential partners are pending response from Humane.
