Ali Fedotowsky-Manno’s husband, Kevin Manno, received a diagnosis of thyroid cancer.
Both Ali and Kevin shared a video on Instagram discussing his diagnosis and encouraging others to share their experiences with thyroid cancer.
Kevin, a radio and TV host, disclosed that he has papillary thyroid cancer with two malignant spots on his right side and potential cancer in a lymph node.
“We recently found out that @kevinmanno has Papillary Thyroid Cancer, which thankfully is treatable,” Ali captioned a video. “He has 2 malignant spots on his right side and it appears there is also cancer in one lymph node, but we won’t know for sure until after his surgery.”

Ali asked for stories about thyroid cancer experiences, particularly about the decision to remove either the full or half thyroid when cancer is only on one side.

In a shared video, Kevin reassured viewers, saying, “We’re open about our lives and want to update you on the situation. It’s thyroid cancer, but we’re staying positive.”

“It’s easy to remedy since it’s in a lymph node,” Ali added.

Kevin stated, “We’re positive about the prognosis and looking forward to the surgery on Feb. 10. We’ll overcome this.”
“I think Kevin’s positive attitude is crucial,” Ali admitted. “I need to stay focused like him,” Kevin added. “Staying stress-free is important.”
