Books are special, and avid readers know that more than anyone. Attending your monthly book club(s) to discuss the latest story is a feeling so riveting, and I can only wish that everyone experience it at least once. Alas, if you’re here, you don’t need any convincing to pick up a novel. Instead, I sense that I’m already talking to my people, and so now is where I’ll make it aware that there are plenty of books on sale right now.
Amazon consistently discounts popular page-turners across many genres month after month, and this June is no different. We’re talking buzzy celebrity memoirs, acclaimed works of fiction that have made Oprah’s Book Club, and even popular book-to-movie adaptations—all with significant chops to their retail prices.
Fiction Book Deals
I’m not ashamed to admit that cute fiction (especially, but not limited to a cheesy-romance) is my favorite genre. It’s a solid choice whenever I need to get out of my reading slump. That said, consistently searching for these types of stories is exactly how I found the best deals on some best-sellers. The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods, which has sold a million copies to date, is on sale for 45 percent off. That one deals with some tough topics, but it’s an enlightening read that’ll open your eyes up. Then, we’ve got one of my all time favorites, Red, White, and Royal Blue on sale for 44 percent off. I’m easily swayed by the public opinion, that is if the opinion is good. So, when an official, name-brand book club recommends a story, it’s in my nature to want to read it. Below are picks from Oprah’s Book Club, Reese’s Book Club, and the GMA Book Club from over the years. You likely know some of these names, like The Midnight Library, a inspirational work of art that is currently going for 47 percent off. I’m always intrigued about the lives of celebrities and public figures. Some may call me a nosy gossip, but I’d say it’s the journalist in me.
