Indiana (14-5, 5-3) has now won five of the last six meetings against Ohio State, including both games from the previous year. Ohio State (10-8, 2-5) suffered its third consecutive conference loss, each by a margin of two points or less.
In a thrilling sequence, Mobley tied the game with a 3-pointer in the closing seconds of regulation. Indiana had multiple attempts at a game-winning shot before Goode’s heroics in overtime sealed the victory.
Key plays in overtime saw Ohio State briefly taking the lead, only for Indiana to respond with clutch plays to secure the win. Goode’s standout performance with 23 points and Ballo’s double-double were instrumental in Indiana’s victory.
Mobley led Ohio State with 22 points, while Parrish and Thornton also contributed significantly to the Buckeyes’ efforts.
Looking ahead, Indiana will face Northwestern, while Ohio State is set to play against No. 17 Purdue.
