Meek Mill recently took to Twitter on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, to share his thoughts on the media’s focus on the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO, Brian Thompson. He expressed his concern about the disproportionate attention given to this incident compared to the tragic deaths of children in Philadelphia, his hometown.
“100 kids get murdered in my hood the press stuck on one CEO ….. I will never get it! When somebody put me to the challenge I’ll collect 1000 guns off Philadelphia street without snitching just helping clean my community! I ain’t come this far for off games! Only pain and growth,” Meek Mill said.
Following the viral spread of his tweets, many netizens shared their reactions on social media. One Instagram user, @TheNeighborhoodTalk, posted screenshots of his tweets and received supportive responses like, “Yall just hate the messenger..but the message on point.”
