John Cena posted a cryptic message on Instagram following Cody Rhodes’ promo on WWE RAW. The 16-time WWE World Champion is scheduled to make a comeback on next week’s Monday Night RAW.
Cena’s upcoming appearance will be his first since turning heel at the Elimination Chamber: Toronto Premium Live Event. He shocked fans by delivering a low blow to Rhodes and joining forces with The Rock and Travis Scott after emerging victorious in the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.
On Instagram, Cena shared an image of HAL 9000, a fictional character and the main antagonist in the Space Odyssey series.

John Cena is on a mission to claim his 17th WWE World Championship. He will face Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, aiming to surpass Ric Flair’s record and secure his first title since 2017.
The 47-year-old superstar earned the #1 contender spot by emerging victorious in the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match, where he eliminated CM Punk last. He also equaled Triple H’s record of winning four Elimination Chamber Matches.
Cena’s last televised singles win was six years ago against Triple H at the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. In recent years, he has suffered defeats against Solo Sikoa, Austin Theory, and Roman Reigns.
