Kite Packaging, one of the UK’s leading packaging suppliers, has expanded its machinery range with a new line of spiral wrapping machines and compatible eco-friendly films. Designed to boost productivity, reduce manual labour, and minimise material waste, this launch continues Kite’s mission to deliver performance without compromising sustainability.
Kite’s new Robopac Compacta spiral wrappers apply stretch film in a controlled spiral pattern using a rotating ring mechanism. They are ideal for long or irregularly shaped items, delivering high-speed, consistent wrapping with minimal manual intervention. They are operated by a foot pedal and equipped with an automatic clamping and cutting system.
Available in four models – Compacta 4, 6, 9 and 12 – the machines vary by film width and offer maximum versatility across different applications. The intuitive control panel enables custom programming of wrapping cycles, while infeed and outfeed conveyors allow for seamless integration into existing production lines.
Complementing the machines, Kite’s new range of spiral wrapper films are developed to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing performance. All four films contain 30% recycled content to support Plastic Packaging Tax compliance.
Designed for durability and stretch efficiency, the films reduce material waste while delivering tight, secure loads that resist transit damage.
With a space-saving footprint and user-friendly controls, the Compacta range is ideal for businesses looking to increase throughput without major infrastructure changes or additional staffing. From compact automation to plastic-reduced solutions, Kite Packaging continues to lead the way in modern packaging.
