There are more legal problems on the horizon for the Chrisley family.
While his father is in prison for financial fraud, Kyle Chrisley was arrested on September 9 and charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
We now have additional details from the incident.
As per the police report from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, the 33-year-old (son of Todd Chrisley and ex-wife Teresa) and his wife were in a money dispute with a mechanic.
After the mechanic confronted them at their home and damaged their parked car, Kyle alleges that the mechanic then returned to taunt him.
The mechanic claims he only knocked on Kyle’s door, but Kyle reportedly stabbed him in the arm with a knife.
A court hearing is scheduled for December to determine the outcome, as Kyle shared a photo on social media of police arresting him.
Kyle wrote on Instagram defending his actions, alleging the mechanic had been threatening him and causing damage to his property for months.
He expressed frustration at not being able to defend himself and his family against the threats and violence.
Chrisley implied that the incident was blown out of proportion due to his last name, suggesting the county was trying to make an example out of him.
He also shared his struggles with self-worth and mental health, revealing past suicidal thoughts and personal challenges.
