Lady Gaga used her Best Pop Duo acceptance speech at the 2025 Grammys to show support for the trans community.
“Trans people are not invisible,” shares Lady Gaga while on stage with Bruno Mars, her co-winner for “Die With a Smile”. “Trans people deserve love, and the queer community deserves to be uplifted. Music is love. Thank you.”
These remarks from Lady Gaga follow President Donald Trump’s executive order recognizing only two sexes, a move that some speculate may have inadvertently classified everyone in the country as female.
