SCOTT CITY, Mo. (KFVS) – Police in Scott City say lawn mowers were stolen from the same business in separate incidents months apart.
Chief Chris Griggs says someone stole John Deere lawn zero-turn lawn mowers from a dealership in Scott City.
Griggs says mowers were taken during an incident in late April and again in mid-June.
Chief Griggs hopes pictures of the thefts can help investigators catch the person responsible.
Griggs says his investigators learned that similar John Deere dealerships have also had equipment stolen in recent months, including a dealership in Miner, Missouri and two more in a different state.
