Elisabeth Terland put Man Utd ahead early in the match with a calm volley from Jayde Riviere’s cross, and although they could have scored more in the first half, Spurs were unable to mount a serious threat.
Despite Tottenham’s four-match unbeaten run coming into the game, they struggled to create clear opportunities, with Beth England and Jessica Naz having the best chances for the hosts.
Man Utd’s solid defense ensured their ninth clean sheet of the season in the WSL, as they continue to push for the top spot, now one point ahead of Man City after their slip-up against Arsenal.
