Real estate veteran Mark Doherty has joined The Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman as the team’s vice president, the brokerage informed Inman.
Doherty has a real estate career of over 25 years in greater Boston and most recently was with Campion and Company for the past seven years.
“We are excited to welcome Mark to The Sarkis Team,” said team cofounder Manny Sarkis. “With 25 years of experience in real estate, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our group. His deep understanding of both the city and suburb markets, along with a reputation for hard work and dedication, will be a great asset to our clients and team.”
Cofounder George Sarkis added, “We believe that Mark will have an immediate impact and continue to enhance the exceptional service we provide. We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to achieving great things together.”
Campion and Company did not immediately respond to Inman’s request for comment.
Doherty previously held executive vice president and president roles at NAI Hunneman and Mercury Properties before joining Campion and Company. He played a role in the $40 million sellout of the Joy Street Beacon Hill project and has handled numerous luxury deals in the city, including the $10.2 million sale of Penthouse 2A at 2 Avery Street.
He brings almost $7.5 million in active listings to the team.
“I am thrilled to join The Sarkis Team because it truly embodies the essence of a ‘Team,'” said Doherty in a statement. “They are focused on the team’s growth and helping everyone exceed their goals both personally and professionally, through strong leadership. After meeting with George and Manny, I felt reinvigorated about the business. I know that their goal is to expand and dominate the Boston market, and with my years of experience and market knowledge, I aim to support this growth in every way possible to help the team.”
Doherty grew up in Medford, Massachusetts, and has been a resident of Winchester, Massachusetts. Both cities are situated within 10 miles of Boston.
