It turns out that Kody Brown isn’t just selfish, close-minded, and impure (according to his own admission)…
…he’s also a bit of a pig.
Viewers witnessed this for themselves on the January 5 episode of Sister Wives.
During this episode, Kody seemed surprised and even irritated that his ex-wife didn’t want him to see her naked anymore.
“Meri’s attitude changed, where I didn’t feel like mine did,” Kody said on the show, providing an example:
“What she started doing was when I would go into the house, and normally you might see your wife dressing, she would cover herself up and hide.”
Well, it’s obvious, Kody. Meri is no longer your wife.
Meri even stated this fact herself on the episode, clarifying that they were still “spiritually” married, but she had chosen to leave Kody.
And let’s be real, they hadn’t been intimate in over a decade anyway.
“If you and I are not having a husband/wife relationship and you walk in the room, why would I expose myself to you?” Meri questioned during a confessional. “Of course I’m going to guard myself.”
It’s unbelievable that Meri even has to explain this, isn’t it? Only Kody Brown would see it differently.
Kody, who also discussed losing his virginity on the same episode, just doesn’t seem to understand. Anything at all.
Fortunately, Meri came to this realization in January 2023 when she and Kody ended their marriage.
“All I can do is look in the mirror, figure out where I can improve and be a better person and just make the rest of my life as good as it can be,” Meri shared with her best friend. “And I tried to do that with, you know, the marriage.”
She did.
We hope Meri can hold her head high now, while making sure to keep her clothes on whenever she’s around Kody.
