Middle Ground Books and Gifts, as a way to recognize a year of operation, is throwing a one year anniversary celebration on Saturday, filled with discounts, new merchandise, giveaways, and refreshments.
Middle Ground Books Co-owners Debra and Lance Rundus and Megan Love opened their brick-and-mortar location last June.
The Saturday celebration is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the bookstore’s Commercial location. Throughout the day, visitors can expect special discounts – 10% off everything storewide, 20% off staff picks, and if a visitor buys a book by a local author, they can buy the next book 20% off.
“We opened Middle Ground with a simple mission: to create a space where people could discover great books, support local authors, and feel at home,” Love said in a press release. “This celebration is our way of saying thank you to the community that has embraced us so warmly.”
Along with discounts, Middle Ground Books will reveal newly designed merchandise, host giveaways and raffles, provide refreshments, and close out the event with cake and a piñata.
