Milford House Care Home in Salisbury has introduced an arts scheme themed around nature and sustainability, ahead of NAPA’s Arts in Care Homes Day on September 24.
The ‘Green Shoots’ programme explores how artistic activities can inspire emotional connection, skill-building, and a sense of pride and inclusion.
Aga Musial, general manager at Milford House, said: “We are so excited about taking part in this and it gives a real focus to our varied artistic activities which are so popular with our residents.

Other activities planned include another weaving session, a glass fusion workshop, and an art display at Salisbury’s Art in the Square event on September 7.
On Arts in Care Homes Day, Milford House will host an art open day in the Hobbycraft crafting room in Salisbury and showcase residents’ work.
