“We are incredibly excited to welcome Miltiadis back to Compass,” Compass CEO and founder Robert Reffkin said in a statement. “His extensive experience in new development and luxury real estate makes him an invaluable asset to our team. We look forward to seeing him thrive and continue to set new standards of excellence in the industry.”

Douglas Elliman also wished him well.

“We are proud of the agent Milti became under the Elliman banner and wish him the best of luck in his next endeavor,” a spokesperson for Douglas Elliman told Inman in an email.

Kastanis has played a crucial role in facilitating some of Miami Beach’s most notable new development sales, including David Martin’s Eighty Seven Park / Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Alex Sapir’s ARTE Surfside by Antonio Citterio and Steve Witkoff’s The Shore Club: Private Collection by Robert A.M. Stern. Kastanis has also closed record-breaking penthouse sales at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, and noteworthy deals at Sunny Isles Beach and Five Park Miami Beach, where he recently repped the buyer and the developer of a $21 million penthouse.

With Compass’ cutting-edge technology and leadership, I look forward to elevating the client experience and shaping the future of high-end real estate.”

Kastanis grew up in upstate New York and moved to Miami’s luxury market in 2014. He is consistently named among the top 100 agents in Florida by RealTrends. In 2024, he was the No. 37 agent by sales volume, according to RealTrends rankings.
