Joy Ann Ribar, the Wisconsin author who wrote the Deep Lakes Cozy Mystery series, will sign her books on June 21, 10 am – 12 pm at Novel Bay Booksellers, 44 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay.
Ribar’s popular mysteries feature strong female characters in fictitious Wisconsin towns. Following the success of her first series, Deep Lakes Cozy Mysteries, Ribar launched the Bay Browning Mysteries, beginning with The Medusa Murders. She has written two books in the series featuring Bay Browning, a college literature professor and amateur sleuth in a small, fictitious community near Madison, Wisconsin.
Despite the bucolic nature of the college community, murder with a literary edge brings Browning into investigations. Ribar’s new book in the series, Shakespeared in the Park, features a myriad of characters involved a college play, Shakespeare’s Couch.
