Update: This story was updated after publishing with the results of Alon Alexander’s bond hearing on Friday.
Shortly after being taken into federal custody, embattled luxury broker Oren Alexander and his twin brother, Alon Alexander, face another lawsuit alleging the rape of a minor in Aspen in 2017.
The lawsuit was filed by a woman named Maylen Gehret, now a resident of Pennsylvania, who met the twins by chance at a bar in Aspen in 2017 when she was 17 years old, as stated in the complaint filed on Monday. Gehret was in town for the Winter X Games that year, while the brothers were 29 years old at the time.
Upon entering the Bootsy Bellows club with two friends, Alon approached Gehret and urged them to join him, Oren, and other men at their table, despite being underage. The complaint alleges that the brothers ordered drinks for the women, which Gehret later suspected were drugged.
