Pete Davidson is going to be a dad!
The 31-year-old “King of Staten Island” star spoke about his brand-new baby news for the first time during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.
“I did it!” Davidson said jokingly as the audience applauded, before expressing his sincere excitement.
“Nah, if anybody who knows me, it’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited,” he said, adding this his girlfriend, model Elsie Hewitt, is also giddy.
“I’m excited to see her be a mom, so we’re stoked,” he said.
Davidson added that the news put things in perspective, as “everything else doesn’t really matter anymore.”
“It’s nice,” the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member added.
Fallon heaped praise on Davidson, saying that he’s going to be a “fantastic dad.”

Hewitt and Davidson reportedly began seeing each other in March.
Hewitt announced the baby news last week in an Instagram post.
“Welp now everyone knows we had sex,” she captioned her post, which showed the couple posing together, alongside a photo of an ultrasound.
TMZ was the first to report the news, and said the couple’s baby is due sometime in the winter.
Davidson, who lost his own father in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, has spoken about his “dream” of being a dad before.
“My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve is, I wanna have a kid. That’s, like, my dream,” Davidson said in a sit-down for Kevin Hart’s show, “Hart to Hart” in 2022.
The “SNL” star said that he was “so excited for that chapter” in his life.
“That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude and develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier,” he explained.
