PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The start of football is getting closer as the Eagles had their first workout on Wednesday.
Fans and businesses across the area are gearing up for what will be an exciting season.
“Transitioning everything from red to green, it’s a really exciting time. I can’t wait to get the fall weather back and tailgating,” explained Mallory Minor, the owner of Minor Details in Manayunk.
Soon enough, green will be taking over the city, especially on Sundays.

Hundreds of fans show up for first day of Eagles training camp
The countdown to the first day of the Eagles’ season is on with training camp underway.
While the Birds are preparing for another championship, fans are preparing to get in the spirit.
“We are ramping up fully here at Minor Details. We usually roll out a small batch for pre-season, focusing on tank tops, crop tops and summer gear,” Minor said.
Minor has been working with vendors to bring in custom pieces this fall, of course, focusing all on the Birds.
“The girls are really liking cardigans. I have a really cool custom cardigan on the way,” noted Minor.
In Conshohocken, Eagles jerseys are fully on display at Flocco’s.
“When training camp comes, people get excited. It helps business. The first pre-season game, people go crazy,” said the owner of Flocco’s, Don Flocco.
Flocco said the excitement is only going to go up from here.
“The jerseys are still going to be hot. We’ll see what happens with the rookies. When they get hot, their jerseys come out, people go crazy for them,” Flocco said.
Fans are still feeling the Super Bowl win, and they’re ready to get this season started.
“So close, just a couple more weeks, we’ll be on the couch watching it all over again,” said Aiden Bock.
