Delamar Southport has been honored in two publications: The Top 10 Hotels in New England by Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards 2025 and the Top Travel Destinations Worldwide by the Men’s Health Travel Awards 2025.
They are the only hotel in Connecticut to be recognized in both publications, according to Delamar Southport.
“The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards are among the most trusted distinctions in the global travel industry, voted on annually by hundreds of thousands of readers,” according to Delamar Southport. Guests rate hotels on key criteria such as service, design, location, and overall experience. “Delamar Southport’s inclusion as one of the Top 10 Hotels in New England highlights its blend of New England charm, understated luxury, and award winning hospitality.”
“The Men’s Health Travel Awards, now in their second year, spotlight destinations that excel in delivering authentic wellness, adventure, and transformation,” Delamar Southport went on to say.
“These honors validate our commitment to excellence in hospitality and the guest experience,” said Charles Mallory, founder and CEO of the Delamar Hotel Collection. “To be recognized alongside some of the finest hotels in the world—and to be the only property in Connecticut honored by both Travel + Leisure and Men’s Health—is a proud moment for our team at Delamar Southport.”
The hotel, located at 275 Old Post Rd in Southport, is “known for its classic New England architecture, personalized service, award-winning Artisan restaurant, and full service spa featuring leading skincare brands Biologique Recherche, Valmont, and Caudalie,” according to Delamar Southport. With the hotel’s focus on wellness, there are also curated experiences for guests to enjoy, like “its signature Brain Optimization Package, developed in collaboration with on-site functional medicine expert Dr. Brian Uss.”
