The Baltimore Ravens have officially ended their partnership with Diontae Johnson.
Johnson was acquired by the Ravens in October with the intent of enhancing their strong offense, but unfortunately, he did not deliver, leading to his release from the team on Friday.
The trade quickly turned into a disaster as Johnson’s performance fell short. In his debut game, he only managed to make one catch for six yards, which turned out to be his sole catch during his time with the team.

Johnson’s disciplinary issues with the team led to his suspension earlier this month, and he was later excused from practice as well.
After being traded from the struggling Carolina Panthers to a competitive Super Bowl contender, Johnson is now set to join his third team in as many months.

Johnson’s time with the Ravens was short-lived, playing in only four games for the team.
The Ravens made the decision to part ways with Johnson just a day before their crucial matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a move that could impact their playoff seeding.
Baltimore only gave up a fifth-round pick in the original trade, minimizing their losses in the transaction.
Questions arose about Johnson’s role in Todd Monken’s offense before his suspension, and his absence during crucial moments further raised concerns.

In his brief appearance with the Ravens, Johnson managed just one catch for six yards in 39 snaps, despite being the Panthers’ top receiver in the initial games of the season.
