Hugh Jackman is generally considered the nicest person in Hollywood.
But a new report aims to knock the actor down a few (dozen) pegs.
Simply put, according to the latest rumors, Jackman repeatedly cheated on his ex-wife with his new girlfriend.
In September 2023, Jackman and his ex-wife announced their break-up after 27 years of marriage.
“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” they said in a statement at the time. “Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
It may have sounded like the words of spouses who ended things on good terms, but the rumors now say that Jackman and his new girlfriend started a romance when they were working on Broadway together.
Yes, it was known for a while that Jackman and his girlfriend are dating. But these rumors claim that they started dating in 2022, before the actor split from his wife.
“They are really happy now,” a source close to the couple revealed.
Neither Jackman nor his girlfriend have commented on their relationship, but they have been spotted showing affection in public.
Back when she was working with Jackman, his girlfriend mentioned how great it was to have made a wonderful new friend.
During rehearsals, they often posted photos and videos together on social media, showing admiration for each other.
“This show is nothing without you,” Jackman wrote alongside a clip of them practicing a dance.
On opening night, Foster shared pics of her and Jackman on the red carpet with the caption: “This man. An honor to be by your side. You. Are. The. BEST.”
His ex-wife suspected nothing, even after watching Jackman and his girlfriend kiss on stage night after night.
“His ex-wife was blindsided when she found out about the affair during the show’s run,” alleges an insider. “It was apparently Broadway’s worst-kept secret, and she was the last to know.”
The publication also reports that Jackman never admitted to the infidelity.
“He didn’t own up to it,” adds the insider.
