Solo Sikoa faced defeat in Tribal Combat against Roman Reigns on the Netflix premiere of WWE RAW, resulting in his absence from this week’s SmackDown. Roman Reigns, the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief, remained elusive this week while his Bloodline members caused chaos on SmackDown. Led by Jacob Fatu, Sikoa’s team played a significant role in various segments of the show.
It appears that WWE is keeping Sikoa’s Bloodline prominently featured on the show, with his return being advertised for next week’s SmackDown.
Here are four possible directions for Solo Sikoa after missing this week’s SmackDown:
#4. Acknowledges Roman Reigns as The Tribal Chief
Roman Reigns clashed with his former Enforcer on the Netflix premiere of RAW. Despite a competitive match, Solo Sikoa failed to capitalize on key opportunities.
Ultimately, The OTC emerged victorious, establishing himself as the true Tribal Chief. The Rock even made a special appearance in the ring to celebrate with Reigns.
In the upcoming SmackDown episode, Solo Sikoa might appear alone or with his team to officially recognize Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief. He could then declare his intentions to operate independently from Reigns and continue as a heel to express his frustration.
#3. Solo Sikoa could return to align with the babyfaces
Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso stood up against Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga this week. After the latter two attacked several stars, including LA Knight, Rhodes challenged them to a tag team match but ended up abandoning Jimmy during the bout to settle a score with Kevin Owens.
In the next episode, Solo Sikoa could intervene to assist Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso during their confrontation with Fatu and Tonga, potentially leading to a face turn for Sikoa and a continued presence in the top card. He could team up with Jimmy Uso to combat the villains created under Roman Reigns’ directives.
#2. Solo Sikoa could maintain ties with his Bloodline as the pseudo-Tribal Chief
Following his defeat to Roman Reigns, WWE may keep members of the Bloodline 2.0 relevant on SmackDown through Solo Sikoa’s delusional character. Sikoa might persist in referring to himself as the Tribal Chief on the blue brand, vowing to seek revenge against Reigns in the future.
With Jacob Fatu and other members supporting him in the Bloodline, WWE could sustain a formidable heel faction on SmackDown. Sikoa’s character could keep The Usos occupied, potentially plotting with Reigns to undermine Cody Rhodes before a potential WrestleMania 41 showdown with The OTC.
If Roman Reigns were to win the 2025 Royal Rumble for a match against The American Nightmare, his eventual turn as a heel could involve Sikoa clandestinely working in his favor, adding complexity to The Bloodline narrative.
#1. Form a new faction on WWE SmackDown
Several top stars have clashed with Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline in the past. Drew McIntyre recently returned to confront the faction but suffered a setback against Jey Uso on RAW’s Netflix premiere.
Additionally, Kevin Owens has shown a desire to retaliate against Reigns in any way possible, even attacking The OTC during Tribal Combat. However, Solo Sikoa failed to capitalize on the opportunity.
Sikoa could return to SmackDown next week to join forces with Owens and McIntyre, forming a powerhouse trio to take on Cody Rhodes, The Usos, and Sami Zayn. This alliance could pose a significant challenge to Roman Reigns and potentially thwart his Royal Rumble aspirations.
