During the holiday season, leftover food is a common sight. However, Carolina Panthers rookie Xavier Legette took a different approach by offering cooked raccoon meat to his teammates and the media in the locker room.
Curiosity got the best of them, and many decided to give it a try.
Legette’s affinity for raccoon meat is not new. In a recent podcast with Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown, he shared his love for hunting, cooking, and eating raccoons.
While he enjoys raccoon meat, Legette revealed that he draws the line at vegetables like bell peppers, considering them too exotic for his taste.
The Panthers (4-11) are set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-7) on Sunday.
