Galaxy S25-series customers are likely to be offered a significant freebie that was previously exclusive to Google Pixel owners.
Jan 02 Update below: I’ve included more information about Google’s current Gemini Advanced free trial offers and its implications for Samsung Galaxy S25 series customers
According to a recent Android Authority report from the teardown specialist Assemble Debug, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 devices might come with a complimentary Google Gemini Advanced AI subscription lasting up to a year valued at $239.88 (see below).
Though the offer has not been officially announced by Samsung or Google, code strings in the latest Google app beta version hint that Samsung Galaxy S25-series smartphones could also receive a Gemini Advanced subscription ranging from three months to a year, depending on the specific model.

What is Gemini Advanced?
Gemini Advanced is Google’s premium AI chatbot service that offers access to the latest and most powerful models by Google. The standard version is free, but Gemini Advanced requires a costly ongoing subscription. Hence, a bundled Gemini Advanced subscription would add significant value to any smartphone purchase.
More Than Just Gemini Advanced
Any Gemini Advanced offer is likely to include more than just access to Google’s top AI models as Gemini Advanced is currently part of Google’s $19.99 per month AI Premium Google One plan, valued at $239.88 per year.
This subscription tier provides 2TB of Google One storage, deep AI integration in Google’s apps like Gmail and Docs, premium Google Workspace features, and 10% back in the Google Store.
The available information so far does not confirm that Galaxy S25 owners will receive a full Google One AI Premium subscription, but like Pixel 9 customers, one would expect Google to extend the same offer to Samsung customers as Gemini Advanced can currently be accessed only through Google One AI Premium.
Jan 02 Update: There are important details regarding Google’s existing Gemini Advanced trials and their potential impact on Samsung Galaxy S25-series customers.
If Samsung’s Gemini Advanced Free trial offer resembles the one given to Google Pixel 9 Pro customers, certain key points should be noted. Not everyone may qualify for the offer, and simply purchasing a Galaxy S25 Ultra and returning it for a year’s subscription to Google One AI Premium won’t work.
Google’s official terms and conditions for the Gemini Advanced subscription bundled with the Pixel 9 Pro offer include the following crucial details:
- Users must be 18 years or older.
- Your Google One account should not be billed through a third party (e.g., Apple or your network operator).
- The offer does not apply to Pixel Pass or Google One family plan members.
- The offer does not apply to Google One members on a 5 TB plan or higher.
- Unless canceled earlier, the offer will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period.
- Returning the purchased device may result in the cancellation of the subscription.
