Saquon Barkley Smashes Eagles Record in Thrilling Victory Against Panthers

Despite not being the anticipated beatdown, the Philadelphia Eagles still secured a 22-16 victory against the Carolina Panthers at home on Sunday.

Saquon Barkley, an MVP hopeful this season, played an essential role by achieving another milestone in his debut season with the Eagles.

Barkley made history with nine games of over 100 yards rushing this season, amassing 124 yards on 20 carries.

Despite Barkley’s impressive rushing yards, he couldn’t reach the end zone. Instead, Jalen Hurts managed to score the first touchdown of the game by scrambling from the one-yard line.

Hurts went on to throw two more touchdowns, one to DeVonta Smith and another to Grant Calcaterra, who capitalized on more playing time due to Dallas Goedert’s absence.

KENTUCKY BETTOR PLACES $3.1 MILLION WAGER ON EAGLES TO BEAT IMPROVING PANTHERS

The game came down to the wire, with Bryce Young and the Panthers having a chance to win after a well-placed punt pinned them on their three-yard line.

Young’s efforts to push the offense forward were evident as he found key receptions to extend the drive, but a crucial drop ultimately cost the Panthers the game.

Despite an almost game-tying touchdown from Xavier Legette being ruled incomplete, the Eagles managed to defend their win streak, extending it to nine games.

An anonymous bettor in Kentucky placed a $3.1 million bet on the Eagles triumphing over the Panthers, resulting in a profitable win despite the close call.

Jalen Hurts had a solid performance, completing 14-of-21 passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 61 yards on eight carries.
