JJ Gilmour, who enjoyed success with the band across Europe, will take to the stage at 8pm on Saturday, September 6.
Tickets for the event, which is only open to those aged 16 and over, are priced at £23 plus a booking fee.
This concert is part of the Beacon Arts Centre’s collaboration with Take The Weight Off, in a bid to showcase local musical talent.
JJ left the band and has since established himself as a solo artist, releasing five studio albums over his 25-year career.
He has also achieved success with his hit musical Dancing Shoes, based on the life of footballer George Best, which was watched by more than 70,000 people, and scored the music for Belfast’s The Titanic Boys.
Aside from music, JJ is known for being an outspoken advocate for mental health.
