Get ready, television viewers.
Kate Gosselin might be making a comeback on the small screen.
According to a report in In Touch Weekly, Kate Gosselin is going through tough times.
She is in need of money, excitement, and purpose in life.
“She doesn’t socialize with friends or date. Even her nursing job, which didn’t pay as well as Kate Plus 8, didn’t work out,” says a tabloid source. “She is struggling financially and might have to sell her house in North Carolina.”
This is not the first time Kate Gosselin has faced financial problems.
With her twin daughters in New York City and her other children in college, some wonder why Kate needs such a large house and who she can rely on in times of trouble.
“She’s still trying to secure a reality show, but doors aren’t opening for her, especially after the negative publicity about her parenting,” reports In Touch. “It wouldn’t be surprising if she starts asking for financial help.”
Last month, Kate’s son Collin revealed that she used to tie him up and lock him in the basement.
“My mother had a secret room in the basement,” Collin, now 20, disclosed to The Sun.
“It was a small space with a window and was locked from the outside.”
Collin described it as a “containment room” where he “lived” on a mattress.
Before this revelation, Collin previously stated that Kate sent him to an institution for behavioral issues as a teenager to silence him.
“I know my mother was dealing with a lot of stress. A divorce and other challenges can be tough,” Collin said during an interview in July 2023 on Vice TV’s Dark Side of the 2000s.
“I think she needed an outlet for her anger and frustration, and unfortunately, I was that outlet,” he added.
After Collin’s interview gained attention, Kate Gosselin denied all allegations of abuse.
Kate mentioned that Collin has “received multiple psychiatric diagnoses,” experienced “outbursts” and once had a “weapon” involved.
“His siblings and I haven’t been part of his life due to his history of unpredictable behavior and aggression towards us,” she added.
Kate concluded by saying she won’t talk about this further at this time.
Amid her financial struggles, the insider states to In Touch:
“If Kate were a kinder person, good things might come her way. But she’s not, and karma is catching up to her.”
