On early Tuesday morning (Nov. 26), SpaceX is set to launch another batch of its Starlink internet satellites from Florida’s Space Coast.
The launch is scheduled for 1:08 a.m. EST (0608 GMT) from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, with a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 24 Starlink spacecraft.
Viewers can watch the launch live on SpaceX’s X account, starting five minutes before liftoff.
If everything goes as planned, the Falcon 9’s first stage will return to Earth and land on the droneship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” in the Atlantic Ocean about eight minutes after liftoff.
This particular booster has been used in 15 launches and landings, with 10 of those missions being Starlink missions.
The upper stage of the Falcon 9 will deploy the 24 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit approximately 65 minutes after liftoff.
So far in 2024, SpaceX has launched 116 Falcon 9 missions, with 80 of them dedicated to expanding the Starlink network. In the past week, there have been four Starlink missions.
The Starlink megaconstellation, which is the largest ever assembled, currently includes nearly 6,700 active spacecraft, according to satellite tracker and astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell.
