Canada’s Rover Tiny Homes offers a unique approach to downsizing with its Cypress model. This tiny house, while not mounted on a trailer, provides ample space for a family with its surprisingly roomy interior.
Unlike traditional tiny houses, the Cypress is designed to be installed on permanent foundations. With a length of 44 ft (13.4 m) and a width of 12 ft (3.6 m), it is among the largest tiny houses available.
Constructed with metal siding and cedar trim, the Cypress features generous glazing that fills the interior with natural light. The living room is spacious and open, complete with a tongue and groove pine ceiling and trim made from reclaimed barn wood. The kitchen, adjacent to the living room, includes a breakfast bar, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of cabinetry.
The bathroom, also located nearby, features a bathtub/shower, vanity sink, flushing toilet, and a stacked washing machine and dryer. The Cypress includes a downstairs bedroom with sufficient headroom, as well as stairs leading to two additional bedrooms upstairs.
The Cypress is currently available for CAD 199,900 (approximately US$143,000).
