Spain Triumphs Over Germany in Euro 2025: Final Matchup Secured

Zakk B.: England have a chance in the final. Today was poor from Spain, I don’t think they beat a healthy, proper XI German team today. Germany missing Oberdorf, Gwinn, Nüsken, Hendrich and the sudden retirement of Popp and Magull.

David G.: Berger caught napping on the goal.

Ben B.: Coll’s double save in the 90th minute had the biggest impact on the game.

Katz J.: Hope to be proven wrong but with all the talent Spain has, more than they have ever had in their history, plus the cohesion and success of the Barcelona female side…

I was expecting the level of their men’s international treble success. There’s just something missing on this Spanish side, I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Strange thing to say about the current World Cup holders I know, but they labour under stress a bit more than I would like. Feels mental, frustration sets in too quickly and deep. Side is crying out for a Puyol level lynchpin (even if Paredes is very good) and clinical David Villa finisher.
