Stroopwafel cookies return to United Airlines on specific flights

United Airlines has reintroduced a popular snack that is sure to delight travelers with a sweet tooth.

Stroopwafels, a delightful Dutch treat, can now be enjoyed on specific flights.

A United spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital that the snack is included in the airline’s complimentary Economy food and beverage service for flights over 300 miles.

The reason for discontinuing the circular waffle cookie remains unclear.

Posted in the “r/unitedairlines” Reddit forum last year, one flyer inquired, “Where did the stroopwafel go???”

The user mentioned, “Subject says it all. The first few months of the year, stroopwafel. The last few flights I’ve been on, some weird chocolate quinoa thing. What gives?”

“Demand their return,” a user commented at the time.

“I’m going to get a case and pass them out on my next flight,” another user declared.
