E Ink and Cream Guitars have introduced a groundbreaking guitar that can dynamically change colors, allowing musicians to customize their instrument to match their music and mood. This innovative move comes from the electronic-ink pioneers, known for their readers and displays.

The Cream Voltage range was already bold, but the new Voltage DaVinci guitar steals the show with its dynamic color-changing body, unveiled at The NAMM Show.

“Breaking all traditional guitar rules was our goal,” said Luis Ortiz, CEO of Cream Guitars. “We’ve reimagined every aspect of an electric guitar to enhance the playing experience. Our collaboration with E Ink provides artists with unparalleled creativity in today’s market.”

E Ink, a leader in electrophoretic displays, also launched eco-friendly, solar-powered screens in Taipei bus stops this week, expanding from gadgets like e-readers to innovative automotive applications.

The Voltage DaVinci guitar features E Ink’s Prism 3 ePaper with seven programmable colors, offering a unique visual experience. This technology blends digital and traditional elements, making it ideal for Cream Guitars’ avant-garde designs.

Pete Valianatos, Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at E Ink, praised Cream Guitars for their innovative instrument design, highlighting their commitment to pushing boundaries in the industry.

E Ink’s collaboration with Delvaux resulted in Prism 3 color-changing handbags at Paris Fashion Week, showcasing the versatility of their technology.
