MagSafe for traveling is one of the best use cases. It keeps you from needing a ton of cables in your bag and makes it easy to keep your gear charged. The dream would be a MagSafe cable that worked on Mac, iPhone, and iPad, but life can’t be that simple. Nevertheless, a few MagSafe accessories are must-haves for your summer travel bag.

Best travel battery packs
There are two types of MagSafe batteries:
- Get you through the end of the world
- Get you through the end of the day
Both serve their purposes, and I tend to travel with both for multi-day trips. One will be something I use for a day of travel, and the other is one I use when I am in and out of the hotel room. For your heavy travel days, I like something like the Anker 633 Magnetic Battery, 10,000mAh Foldable Wireless Portable Charger. Depending on your iPhone, it’ll get nearly two full charges. It also includes a stand, so it’s perfect for the airplane.
For something that is a lot thinner, I like the LISEN 0.3‘’ Ultra Slim MagSafe Portable Charger iPhone,Alloy 5,000mAh Wireless Card Slim MagSafe Battery Pack. It’s about half the capacity of the Anker model, but it’s a lot thinner.
Charging solutions for the hotel
What I hate about traveling from a device standpoint is gathering all the needed chargers and cords. One of my favorite devices to travel with is the UGREEN 100W Charging Station 4-Port. It includes a MagSafe charger on top, 2 USB-C outputs, and 1 USB-A output. This means it can charge your iPhone, Mac, AirPods, iPad, Nintendo Switch, Kindle, etc. It’s small enough to fit in your bag, but it can charge your entire device lineup at the same time.
For a less expensive option, the LISEN 3 in 1 Charging Station is a great option as it’ll charge your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch as well.
Wrap up
Outside of these two categories, I love the ESR for MagSafe Wallet with Find My Functionality. Even if you don’t carry it daily, it is a great travel wallet thanks to its MagSafe support and Find My integration. It’ll be one less thing to keep track of as you travel.
