Travis Kelce hasn’t been putting up his usual numbers in the 2024 football season, but his fans don’t seem to mind.
Despite a somewhat below-average season by his standards, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end received the most fan votes for the 2025 Pro Bowl.
He accumulated 252,200 fan votes, with his relationship with Taylor Swift likely playing a role in boosting that number.

Kelce and Swift began dating in September last year, significantly increasing his already sky-high popularity beyond football circles.
After winning Super Bowl LVII, Kelce was chosen to host Saturday Night Live and had made appearances in reality television, but dating Swift elevated his name to new heights.
This year marks Kelce’s 10th Pro Bowl selection, with 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns this season.
However, this will likely be the first time since 2015 that Kelce plays at least 16 games without reaching 1,000 yards. Kelce played in 15 games last year, missing his first game due to injury since his rookie season, and achieved 984 yards.
Jahmyr Gibbs received just under 2,000 fewer votes than Kelce as the second highest vote getter.
NFL TEAMS DOING ‘EXTENSIVE HOMEWORK’ ON JON GRUDEN SINCE CONTROVERSIAL EMAILS AS OFFSEASON APPROACHES: REPORT
Kelce isn’t the only one on the Chiefs offense who has slowed down. In fact, it’s been a team-wide trend. However, a strong defense and some lucky breaks have propelled them to a 15-1 season and the No. 1 seed in the AFC after winning back-to-back Super Bowls.
Jayden Daniels, Joe Burrow, and Jared Goff rounded out the top five vote getters.
This marks the third year of the Pro Bowl Games since the NFL replaced its full-contact all-star game with skills competitions and a flag football game throughout the week.
The games will be held in Central Florida, concluding with a 7-on-7 flag football game between the AFC and NFC at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Feb. 2.
